From the peaks of the tallest mountains in the region, a legend was born and fated to spread like a plague through villages and towns of sizes large and small. This tale was born on the word of a young Digimon named Gibitomon, a rascally virus type who held no credibility. He had been traveling in the mountains and saw something unexplainable and supernatural; a sight of a creature more beautiful than all the world had seen; a creature of obscene power that lurked in the seldom traveled mountains of their world. With his claims denied, the young Gibitomon was ready to prove his worth. To the mountain he traveled for the second time, with a heart so downtrodden he was sure that even he was lying to himself. As he reached the cavern where he first saw the magnificent creature, he realized that it was abandoned. Although he wished to question what he had seen, he was too distraught that he had actually been the liar that they had so mercilessly crowned him as. Unable to face the village from which he had traveled, he made his way to the peak of that mountain, and vowed to never return to society. It was then that a creature ridden in jewels larger than his eyes were wide descended from the thick cloud cover and landed with earthshaking force upon the mountaintop. Inclined to run, but stopped by his sheer awe, Gibitomon was nonetheless enlightened that he had been right. The creature bent down, its head bigger than Gibitomon's entire body, and it said to him, "Little one, why do you try so hard to prove you are right?"

Gibitomon replied, "Because I am a Gibitomon. We are born to be liars, and now I need to prove that I am not like the others."

The beast looked thoughtfully down at Gibitomon. "When others doubt you, faith in yourself will change your mind. You are only like your kin if you believe that you must be because of who you are."

Gibitomon looked at his feet and bowed his head shamefully. He knew he had only been doing this to prove that he was right. "Can I not hide away, as you do in these mountains?"

"I do not hide because I ashamed of who I am. I live here because I know this is where I belong, just as you belong with those you left before this journey." The beast reached onto its back and pulled off one of its brilliant golden jewels and held it down to Gibitomon. "Take this and go back home. Tell them that they have their proof, but you believed I existed although you had none before." Without another word, the beast rose into the sky and left Gibitomon to ponder what had happened. The young Digimon looked down into the item that he had been given, and saw his reflection. A toothy smile grew across his furred face, and he ran as fast as he could back home to tell everyone of what had happened. From that day onward, Gibitomon made sure to teach this to all the other Gibitomon, and in his success, Gibitomon became credible, honest Digimon that were respected members of the Digital World. To this day, the legend of Gibitomon and the Golden Beast still lingers on the tongues of those old enough to remember, and the ornament that he was handed still exists in the hands of those that came after him.

XD That's basically how I felt earlier because my space heater went into overdrive or something and it was like 10 degrees warmer in my room than the rest of the house. i usually suck at side profiles so badly

Welcome~. Ahhhh I suck at profiles most of the time too. I did this pretty epic doodle of Saix a month or so ago that involved a nice profile shot... yeah. Other than that I'm no good. |D

i sometimes do them alright but most of the time no. Front profiles, on the other hand, I'm okay at, and 3/4 I'm quite alright with.

I'd say my best view is 3/4... I'd had a lot of trouble with front-view until recently... but side view is like jfas;lkd fail. >>
